Deep Purple expands tour with 40 new dates for 2026
Rock band Deep Purple has expanded its upcoming tour, adding more than 40 new show dates in support of their 2026 album, Splat!. The tour, which includes special guests Kansas and Jefferson Starship, officially began in Raleigh, North Carolina, on August 4.
Despite previously hinting at retirement due to health concerns, frontman Ian Gillan has continued performing. Gillan disclosed that he is currently managing significant vision loss, stating, "I've only got 30 percent vision; that won't get better."
The new album, Splat!, marks a continued collaboration with producer Bob Ezrin. The tour is scheduled to run through September 12, with various stops across the United States and Canada.
