Deep Purple highlights musical legacy and upcoming Spanish tour
Deep Purple, the pioneering British hard rock band, is making headlines both for their historical legacy and upcoming live performances. The band's legendary live album, ‘Made in Japan’, was captured during a series of decisive concerts in August 1972. Specifically, the performance in Osaka on August 16, 1972, provided four of the seven tracks on the original release, including ‘Highway Star’, ‘Child in Time’, ‘Strange Kind of Woman’, and ‘Space Truckin’.
Looking toward the future, the group has confirmed upcoming concert dates in Spain for October 2026. The tour will include a performance at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on October 19 and a show at the Movistar Arena in Madrid on October 20. These dates continue the band's long-standing presence in the European rock scene.
