Deep Purple tribute bands perform in Germany

Rock tribute acts have been performing Deep Purple repertoire across different venues in Germany.

The band Purple Rising delivered an energetic show at the Kuba-Halle, featuring hits such as ‘Highway Star’ and ‘Black Night,’ alongside deeper cuts like ‘You keep on moving’ and ‘This time around.’ The performance included vocal contributions from Michael Dorp and Michael Baum, with musical highlights provided by guitarist Joachim Villwock and bassist Dominik Stotzem. The set also incorporated elements of Led Zeppelin.

Additionally, the Kaiserslautern-based band Black Night is scheduled to perform at the Irish House. The group, featuring vocalist Pouya Nemati, guitarist Jürgen Walzer, Hammond organist Leo Wirth, drummer Uwe Stahl, and bassist Claus Urbanczyk, performs a wide range of the legendary band's eras, from 1960s psychedelic rock to the Steve Morse era.
