Deepal reaches 1 million vehicle production milestone

Deepal has announced the production of its 1,000,000th vehicle. This milestone coincides with the September 28 launch of the Deepal S07 AI LiDAR version.

The new S07 model is a long-range AI smart SUV developed in collaboration with Volcengine. It features the Doubao large language model to power an intelligent cockpit with capabilities such as an “emotion butler” and natural language customization. The vehicle utilizes a 27-sensor fusion perception solution, including an external roof-mounted LiDAR, and is built on an 800V high-voltage fast-charging platform. It supports a peak 6C charging rate, claiming a range of nearly 400km with 9 minutes of charging, and offers a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 725km.

Deepal Chairman Deng Chenghao noted that as the new energy vehicle industry enters a phase of intense competition, systemic capabilities will be more critical than single-point breakthroughs. The brand, which originated from Changan Automobile’s “Shangri-La Plan,” has expanded its global presence to over 100 countries and regions.
