Deepika Gorji launches debut memoir ‘A Girl’s Journey’ in Chandigarh

Author Deepika Gorji’s debut memoir, ‘A Girl’s Journey’, was formally unveiled at the ‘Unspoken’ event in Chandigarh. The launch was an initiative of the Indian Women Network (IWN) of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), organized in association with Novel Bunch.

Gorji, who began her writing journey at the age of 53, described the book as a deeply personal experience that allowed her to rediscover her voice through reflections on relationships, love, loss, and introspection. She dedicated the work to her parents, incorporating specific memories of her late father.

The event featured a formal unveiling by Lt Gen ‘Tiny’ Dhillon, Vivek Atray, Saguna Jain, and Hardeep Chandpuri. Sakshi Katyal, Chairperson of CII IWN, noted that the ‘Unspoken’ initiative aims to create a space for women’s perspectives and bring often-ignored conversations into the mainstream.
