DEEPX expands APAC distribution through Avnet partnership

DEEPX, an ultra‑low‑power on‑device AI semiconductor company, announced a strategic partnership with global distributor Avnet to broaden its commercial distribution network across the Asia‑Pacific region. The agreement extends a prior Master Distributor Agreement with Avnet Europe, authorising Avnet Asia and its regional affiliates to sell DEEPX products in 15 key markets, including South Korea, Japan, China (Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan), Singapore, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries.

The collaboration aims to accelerate adoption of DEEPX’s edge AI solutions in physical‑AI markets such as smart factories, robotics, autonomous vehicles, smart cities and security systems. Avnet will provide regional engineering support, ecosystem partnerships, design assistance and supply‑chain services, while joint marketing activities and technical seminars began on July 10 at events in Singapore, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. CEO Lokwon Kim emphasized the need for a complete ecosystem beyond chip performance, and Avnet’s KS Lim highlighted the combined strengths to help customers move from evaluation to volume production.
