DEEPX secures $13 million in global orders for AI chips

South Korean AI semiconductor company DEEPX has secured over $13 million in purchase orders (PO) within one year of mass-producing its DX-M1 on-device AI NPU chip. The company reported a total of 77 orders across nine global regions, including South Korea, the United States, China, Europe, Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore.

Growth has accelerated significantly, with approximately 62% of the total orders occurring between April and July 2026. DEEPX is currently expanding its footprint in various sectors such as robotics, smart factories, smart mobility, and medical AI. Key international clients include Baidu and Lenovo in China, and AAEON in Taiwan.

To support global distribution, DEEPX has established contracts with 27 semiconductor distributors and collaborated with over 50 hardware module companies. The company maintains a patent portfolio of over 500 patents and has achieved a production yield of approximately 90% using Samsung Electronics' manufacturing processes. Looking ahead, DEEPX is developing its next-generation DX-M2 chip using Samsung's 2nm process, with prototypes expected in the first half of 2027.
