Def Leppard announces box set featuring unreleased Beatles cover

British rock band Def Leppard has announced the release of Volume 4, the fourth installment in a six-part box set collection covering their discography. The set focuses on the period between 2015 and 2023, including the albums Def Leppard (2015), Diamond Star Halos (2022), and Drastic Symphonies (2023).

A highlight of the collection is the release of a previously unreleased cover of The Beatles' classic “Revolution,” titled “Revolution (Abandoned TV Ad).” The track was recorded during the band's Stadium Tour era for an advertising campaign that ultimately did not use the recording.

The box set, available in a six-CD format or an 11-disc vinyl edition, also features a disc of rarities curated by frontman Joe Elliott. This includes material such as tracks from The Lost Sessions, live recordings from Abbey Road, various demos, radio edits, and covers of songs by artists including Depeche Mode and David Bowie.
