Def Leppard performs first concert in Costa Rica

British rock band Def Leppard made their debut in Costa Rica on Tuesday, October 27, at the Parque Viva Imperial Amphitheater. The performance marked the band's first visit to the country, fulfilling a decades-long wait for local fans.

The lineup featured vocalist Joe Elliott, guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell, bassist Rick Savage, and drummer Rick Allen. During the set, the band performed classic hits including ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’, ‘Photograph’, ‘Love Bites’, ‘Rock of Ages’, ‘Hysteria’, and ‘Animal’.

A notable moment of the evening included a drum solo by Rick Allen, who performs using an adapted instrument following the loss of his left arm in a 1984 accident. The concert also featured the American band Extreme as a special guest.
