DefCamp cybersecurity conference to convene in Bucharest
The 16th edition of DefCamp, a major cybersecurity conference for Central and Eastern Europe, is scheduled to take place on November 19 and 20, 2026, at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest.
The event is expected to gather over 2,500 specialists, business leaders, and decision-makers representing 700 public and private organizations. The conference will feature four stages with international industry speakers and more than 10 practical cybersecurity competitions and activities.
The gathering comes amid a complex threat landscape involving ransomware, supply chain incidents, and operations by criminal groups or state actors. Discussions are expected to address how artificial intelligence is lowering barriers for attackers and how European regulations, such as NIS2, DORA, and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), are increasing executive responsibility for cyber resilience.
