Defender introduces new Vertex trim level for luxury SUV lineup

Defender has updated its vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Vertex trim level. Positioned alongside the X level, this new option focuses on a more luxurious aesthetic without compromising the SUV's off-road capabilities.

Key exterior enhancements for the Vertex trim include a larger grille, new front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, new fog lights, and wheels measuring up to 22 inches. The vehicle also features exterior details in Shadow Atlas Matte finish. For the first time, customers can opt for a self-healing Gloss Protective Film in addition to the standard Matte Protective Film.

Inside, the Vertex trim offers high-resistance Fordged polyester fabric or Windsor leather upholstery. Depending on the model, features include tri-zone or four-zone climate control, Cabin Air Purification Plus, and 220-volt power outlets.

Pricing for the Vertex trim starts at 128,450 euros for the Defender 110 PHEV. Other configurations, such as the D350 micro-hybrid diesel and the P380, range from 143,450 to 146,250 euros for the 110 model. The Defender 90 and 130 models are available with D350 and P380 engines, with prices starting from 139,650 euros for the 90 and 154,700 euros for the 130.
