Defense companies in Lithuania and Czech Republic targeted by funeral wreath provocations
Funeral wreaths and black-and-white photographs of company executives appeared near the offices of defense firms in Lithuania and the Czech Republic. The companies, which supply military equipment and ammunition to Ukraine, include RSI Europe in Vilnius and CSG in the Czech Republic.
Lithuanian authorities are treating the incidents as a possible provocation by Russian intelligence services. In Vilnius, police detained a Ukrainian citizen suspected of delivering the wreaths on behalf of a Belarusian citizen.
Tomas Milašauskas, head of RSI Europe, characterized the act as typical Russian intimidation. Law enforcement officials are currently investigating whether the incidents in both countries are linked. In response, Lithuania has increased security at key infrastructure sites and remains on high alert.
