Workers from the defense and aviation industries are scheduled to hold their 31st pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn in Skarżysko-Kamienna on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

The event is organized by the National Sections of the Defense and Aviation Industries of NSZZ ‘Solidarność’. The pilgrimage will include a solemn Mass celebrated by Bishop Henryk Tomasik, a military orchestra concert, and a procession featuring the image and relics of Blessed Father Jerzy Popiełuszko.

Skarżysko-Kamienna is a significant hub for the Polish defense industry, serving as the headquarters for MESKO S.A. The sanctuary itself is a major religious site, having been elevated to the status of a Minor Basilica in 2014.
