Defense Minister Gašić visits Jumko company in Vranje

Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić visited the Jumko company in Vranje to inspect various production facilities, including the Ballistics plant and the weaving, finishing, and final production units.

During the visit, Gašić met with General Director Zoran Stojković and the company's management to discuss business results, current projects, and future development plans. The Minister emphasized the importance of continuous cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and domestic industry to enhance production capacities and support local expertise.

Gašić noted that Jumko plays a significant role in equipping the Serbian Army, producing items ranging from uniforms to ballistic and other protective equipment. He stated that the Ministry aims to rely as much as possible on domestic capacities to preserve production and jobs.
