DEFTECH unveils F-1500 loitering munition at ADEX 2026

At the ADEX 2026 international defense exhibition in Baku, Azerbaijani defense company DEFTECH introduced the F-1500, a compact loitering munition designed for squad and platoon-level precision strikes. The 7 kg system features AI-supported targeting and autonomous optical tracking capable of operating day and night. It can be launched from the ground with a range of 20 km or from the DT-001 carrier in an air-launched configuration, which extends its strike range to 50 km.

Additionally, the NOVA 500 UAV detection and neutralization system was showcased. This technology can detect flying drones at distances of up to 10 km. The system utilizes spoofing technology to manipulate drone coordinates, allowing operators to redirect, land, or alter the altitude of a target drone.

The ADEX 2026 and Securex Caspian exhibitions feature over 270 companies from 29 countries, with national pavilions representing nations including the US, UK, China, Turkey, and Russia.
