DEI Group expands into Poland with 277.3 MW renewable energy portfolio

DEI Group is expanding into the Polish energy market through an agreement to acquire a renewable energy portfolio totaling 277.3 MW. The deal, made with EDP Renewables Polska Sp. z o.o. and EDP Renewables Polska HoldCo S.A., includes wind and solar projects with an estimated 35-year lifespan.

The portfolio consists of 130.5 MW of operational wind power across Ilza, Tomaszow, and Poturzyn, and 44.9 MW of operational solar power in Pakoslaw and Recz. Additionally, the acquisition includes 101.9 MW of solar projects under development via cable pooling in Ilza and Tomaszow.

This move aligns with DEI Group’s 2026-2030 strategic plan, which outlines a €24 billion investment program aimed at nearly doubling the company’s installed capacity. The expansion seeks to establish a regional clean energy platform spanning from Greece to Central and Southeast Europe.
