DEI launches zero‑cost solar rooftop systems for Greek homes and businesses

Greek utility DEI (Public Power Corporation) introduced two new solar photovoltaic packages: DEI myEnergy SolarSmart for residential customers and DEI myEnergy SolarSmartPro for enterprises. Both solutions provide equipment at no upfront cost, a low activation fee and a fixed price for the electricity generated for ten years. The residential offer guarantees at least a 20 % reduction in annual electricity bills, while the business package aims to lower operational expenses and improve sustainability, with optional battery storage for greater energy optimisation.

DEI handles the entire process – from site study, procurement and installation to ongoing maintenance, remote monitoring and insurance – eliminating technical risk for customers. The services are targeted at users consuming more than 8,500 kWh per year and are linked to the DEI myEnergy Coach digital platform, which lets clients track production and consumption in real time and receive personalised efficiency advice.
