DEITAC urges Tijuana businesses to utilize economic support programs

Gabriel Cabañas, Vice President of Economic and Industrial Development Promotion at DEITAC, has urged companies in Tijuana to familiarize themselves with available support programs. During a meeting of the Promotion Commission, Arturo Herrera, representing the Baja California Secretariat of Economy and Innovation, detailed various incentives, including financing for small businesses and assistance in obtaining certifications.

Herrera noted that financing programs are available through the Secretariat in coordination with banks such as Banorte and Santander. Companies seeking loans or specific support are encouraged to contact the Secretariat of Economy for detailed information.

Additionally, DEITAC Executive Director David Moreno announced the upcoming ‘Cali Baja Business Summit,’ scheduled for October 6 at the Institute of the Americas. Organized in collaboration with the University of San Diego, Smart Border Coalition, and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the event will feature panels and conferences focused on technology, innovation, and binational trade integration.
