Dejan Kulusevski nears return to Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Dejan Kulusevski is nearing a return to competitive action following a lengthy recovery from complex patella surgery. After nearly 500 days on the sidelines, the Swedish international has returned to full training at Hotspur Way.

Kulusevski’s teammate Yasin Ayari praised the 26-year-old’s mental resilience during the rehabilitation process, describing his ability to maintain a positive mindset despite repeated physical setbacks as ‘not normal’.

While Tottenham’s medical staff are exercising caution to avoid further complications, there is hope that Kulusevski could be included in a matchday squad as early as October 10 for the fixture against Manchester United. Manager Roberto De Zerbi has noted that the player’s return would be ‘like a new signing’ for a team seeking more consistency in attack.
