Dejan Kulusevski nears Tottenham return after training in Sweden

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Dejan Kulusevski is nearing a return to competitive action following a period of rehabilitation. During the recent international break, the 26-year-old Swedish international utilized training facilities in Sweden to continue his fitness regime and step up his recovery process.

According to reports from journalist Alasdair Gold, the next phase of Kulusevski’s return involves integrating into full-squad training sessions at Hotspur Way. The club’s medical and coaching staff intend to ensure he completes a significant block of team training without setbacks or minor muscle issues before he is cleared for selection.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has noted that the player’s return will provide a significant boost to the squad. If he avoids physical setbacks during upcoming training sessions, Kulusevski is expected to be named on the matchday bench as early as October.
