DeKalb County mails 260,000 property tax bills for 2026

The DeKalb County Tax Commissioner’s Office has mailed approximately 260,000 property tax bills for the 2026 tax year. The office has introduced redesigned bills featuring clearer payment information and deadlines, alongside a new property tax payment website.

Taxpayers can utilize the updated website for various e-payment options, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and PayPal, as well as credit, debit, and e-checks. Property owners may pay their bills in two installments by September 30 and November 16, or pay the full annual amount by September 30 to avoid late fees. Bills for City of Atlanta properties located within DeKalb County will be mailed at a later date.
