DEKAV hosts legal career mentorship event for youth

The DEKAV foundation held the third installment of its ‘Gençlerle Baş Başa’ (Face to Face with Youth) series at the Ördekli Cultural Center. This free mentorship program aimed to increase professional awareness among university candidates and future legal professionals.

During the event, participants engaged with judicial experts to discuss topics including university life, career planning, personal development, and legal literacy. The panel featured speakers such as Supreme Court Examiner Mehmet Can and Bursa 10th High Criminal Court President Yılmaz Yavuz, who shared insights into the responsibilities of the judiciary and the nuances of legal education.

DEKAV President Yüksel Yaşar noted that the series has previously hosted economists, members of parliament, and local politicians. He emphasized the foundation's mission to move from education toward regional development by providing youth with practical life experiences and professional guidance.
