Automotive leaders DEKRA and MAHLE announce innovations for Automechanika 2026

Major automotive industry players DEKRA and MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility have announced significant service and product showcases for the Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 exhibition.

DEKRA will present a suite of services focused on electric mobility, workshop safety, and damage assessment. Their offerings include vehicle inspections, charging infrastructure and cable verification, technical training, and consultancy. A key focus will be the inspection of electric vehicle charging cables to prevent electrical accidents and fires, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility plans to debut five world-first innovations designed to transition traditional workshops into digital service centers. These include the MAHLE Workshop Portal, a digital platform featuring an AI assistant named ‘MIA’, and the ‘MAHLE Climate Expert’ concept to enhance air conditioning and thermal management expertise. Other debuts include the ArcticPRO® next-generation automated air conditioning service machine, the MAHLE Mobile Repair Service for on-site assistance, and CareMetix® Natural, an air filter utilizing natural wool.
