Delacorte Press to release Kiki and the Other Witch in English

Delacorte Press has announced the first English-language publication of ‘Kiki and the Other Witch’, the third novel in Eiko Kadono’s ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’ series. The book is scheduled for release on February 23, 2027.

Translated by Emily Balistrieri and featuring illustrations by Yuta Onoda, the story follows a sixteen-year-old Kiki as she encounters Keke, a twelve-year-old girl with unexpected powers. The narrative explores themes of self-discovery and identity as Kiki navigates the challenges brought by Keke’s presence.

This release follows the upcoming English publication of the second novel, ‘Kiki and the New Magic’, set for August 25, 2026. These new editions are part of an effort to bring more of the series to North American readers, expanding the literary world that inspired Studio Ghibli.
