Delcourt announces ‘Capes’ comic series by Robert Kirkman

Delcourt is releasing a new comic book series titled ‘Capes’, written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Mark Englert. Set within the ‘Invincible’ universe, the story offers a unique take on the superhero genre by focusing on the professional lives of heroes who operate through a company called Capes Inc.

The narrative explores the intersection of heroism and corporate routine, where characters like Bolt, Kid Thor, and Knockout must balance fighting threats in New York City with workplace issues such as union breaks, salaries, and overtime pay. The series highlights the contrast between extraordinary powers and ordinary professional complications.
