Delcy Rodríguez inspects communal production and recovery efforts in Caracas

Acting President Delcy Rodríguez has conducted several inspections in Caracas to oversee communal production and infrastructure recovery. During a visit to the Negro Primero Socioproductive Center in the Sarría sector, Rodríguez emphasized that the communal economy is a solution for local development and territorial growth. She noted that by eliminating intermediaries, these production units can reduce prices for families; for example, meat prices in these spaces are reported between $9 and $9.8 per kilo, compared to $11 or $12 in traditional markets.

The Negro Primero center includes a bakery, a meat processing unit, and a textile workshop. Rodríguez also highlighted the importance of public procurement in boosting national agro-industry and encouraged entrepreneurs to focus on exports to promote Venezuelan products abroad.

In addition to economic oversight, Rodríguez launched a training program for construction workers—including plumbers, electricians, and carpenters—to support the 'Venezuela Renace' plan, which aims to aid recovery following recent earthquakes. Furthermore, she inspected road clearing operations on Avenida Boyacá in Caracas following heavy rains caused by Tropical Wave 40, coordinating with public services to restore mobility and safety in the capital.
