Delcy Rodríguez leads labor talks and social program inspections in Venezuela

Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez led a meeting with representatives from labor unions and business sectors, including Fedecámaras and Fedeindustria, to discuss labor stability and economic development. During the meeting, Rodríguez stated that 91 percent of national income is allocated to labor claims and social protection systems as part of an ongoing economic recovery process.

In Anzoátegui, Rodríguez promoted several social initiatives. This includes the ‘Más Años, Más Amor’ plan, which provides health and recreational services to over 112,000 elderly citizens through specialized medical teams and volunteers. Additionally, she visited the new ‘Casita Azul’ center in the Diego Bautista Urbaneja municipality, a facility dedicated to providing multidisciplinary, free support for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

In other regional developments, authorities in Lara state inspected the Domo Bolivariano in Barquisimeto to prepare for the 2026 CONMEBOL U-20 Futsal Tournament. Meanwhile, in Carabobo, Governor Rafael Lacava and Rosinés Chávez recognized volunteers for their contributions to the 2026 Community Vacation Plan.
