Dele Momodu recounts near-detention at Heathrow Airport

Journalist and media entrepreneur Dele Momodu has recounted an incident where he was nearly detained at Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom. The encounter occurred while he was traveling to South Africa with a senator.

Airport officials questioned Momodu after discovering 18 mobile phones in his luggage. To verify his profession as a journalist, Momodu used an iPad to show photographs of prominent figures he had interviewed, including former British monarch Queen Elizabeth II and former United States President Bill Clinton.
