Delfina Pozos engages with Puebla migrant community in New York

During her “Acción Migrante” working tour in the United States, Deputy Delfina Pozos Vergara met with the Puebla migrant community in New York. As part of the tour, she was named International Godmother of the 2026 Hispanic Heritage Parade by the Centro Mexicano Ateneo de México, presented by its president, Professor José Rojano.

Pozos Vergara visited various migrant-owned businesses to learn about their entrepreneurial efforts and personal challenges. The tour aims to strengthen communication with the Puebla diaspora and gather information to develop legislative initiatives and management proposals within the State Congress. The deputy emphasized the importance of addressing the needs of migrants living abroad to maintain their connection to their roots in Puebla and Mexico.
