Delhaize stores raise over €7,100 for Alzheimer's research

Delhaize supermarkets in Zottegem, Geraardsbergen, and Wetteren have raised €7,186.80 for Stopalzheimer, the Foundation for Alzheimer Research. The funds were collected through the sale of memory bracelets.

The proceeds will support scientific research at Belgian universities and research institutions aimed at improving the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of Alzheimer's and related conditions. Joost Martens, director of Stopalzheimer, expressed gratitude to the store teams and customers for their engagement in supporting Belgian scientific progress.
