Delhi and Jharkhand Murder Cases Involve Brutal Killings and Theft
In Delhi's Gagan Vihar neighbourhood, Kamal Singh allegedly murdered his wife Komal Singh within ten minutes, cleaned himself, changed clothes and fled with about 1.2 million rupees, attempting to cross into Nepal before being apprehended near Mathura. Police noted the family had been watching a crime web series that featured a similar weapon disappearance, which also went missing at the crime scene.
In Jharkhand's Pakur district, Aburas Ansari (also known as Aburas Momin) brutally slit the throats of his wife Gulchehra Bibi and her mother-in-law in the village of Jhenagadi. The double homicide was solved within 12 hours, leading to his arrest after a special investigation team gathered forensic evidence and recovered the blood‑stained knife and clothing.
Both cases highlight extremely violent domestic murders in India, rapid police response, and the role of forensic investigation in securing arrests.
