Delhi and Uttar Pradesh police bust fake aviation job scams
Police in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have dismantled fraudulent aviation recruitment operations targeting job seekers.
In Delhi, the Cyber Police arrested six individuals, including a mastermind and a website developer, for running a racket under the name ‘Bretish Airways’ and Future Wings Learning Institute. The group used fake social media advertisements and websites to offer jobs at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Victims were coerced into paying between Rs 7,000 and Rs 10,000 for mandatory aviation management diplomas and were issued fraudulent admission slips and job offer letters.
Separately, Uttar Pradesh police arrested a man named Ajay in Ghaziabad for his role in a scam operated by the Lambodar Institute in Noida. This group allegedly used a counterfeit website mimicking Noida International Airport to solicit various fees, including registration, training, medical exams, and uniforms. The gang used misappropriated logos and fabricated documentation to deceive candidates through a fake call center.
