Delhi BJP denounces AAP leader's claim of Meta and WhatsApp suspensions

Delhi BJP media head Praveen Shankar Kapoor condemned an X post by AAP Delhi convenor Saurabh Bharadwaj that alleged the suspension of accounts linked to the student movement on Meta and WhatsApp. Kapoor called the allegation baseless, noting that WhatsApp temporarily blocks accounts that forward excessive messages as a standard policy, and cited his own experience of periodic suspensions.

BJP spokesperson described Bharadwaj as a hypocritical leader trying to provoke youth. BJP President and Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra added that opposition parties are hijacking the student movement, spreading violence, and urged figures such as Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal to answer questions about recent security breaches and the NEET discussion in Parliament.
