Delhi CM Rekha Gupta inspects Chhath ghat construction

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inspected the development, beautification, and construction of Chhath ghats along the Munak Canal near Prembari Pul in Singhalpur. The initiative aims to transform areas previously affected by filth and disorder into clean, well-equipped spaces for devotees ahead of the Chhath Mahaparv festival.

The Chief Minister has issued instructions to officials to ensure time-bound and high-quality work so that worshippers can celebrate in a clean and hassle-free environment.

To manage the festivities, the Delhi government has established a special committee led by Art and Culture Minister Kapil Mishra. The committee, which includes several MLAs and social workers, is tasked with overseeing essential services such as drinking water, medical and ambulance services, fire safety, mobile toilets, security, traffic management, sanitation, and uninterrupted electricity at all puja venues.
