Delhi CM Rekha Gupta unveils Commonwealth Table Tennis mascot

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Sports Minister Ashish Sood presided over the unveiling of the official mascot – a peacock – for the 22nd Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships. The ceremony took place in New Delhi, with reports noting the venue as The Lalit on July 14, 2026. The championship will be staged at Thyagraj Stadium from June 27 to July 2, featuring athletes from 25 Commonwealth nations. Officials said the event highlights Delhi’s growing role as a hub for international sports competitions and will showcase the city’s sporting infrastructure and organisational capabilities.
