Delhi Deputy Mayor orders crackdown on encroachments in Gharoli

Delhi Deputy Mayor Monika Pant conducted an inspection of Gharoli Ward-194 to evaluate civic amenities, sanitation, and traffic management. During the visit, she ordered immediate legal action against several local issues.

Pant directed officials to identify and clear encroachments on public spaces to ensure orderly management and public convenience. She also called for a crackdown on illegal dairies, citing concerns over improper cow dung disposal, foul odors, disrupted drainage systems, and negative impacts on public health.

Additionally, the Deputy Mayor instructed the Veterinary Department to address the presence of stray animals on the roads to mitigate traffic disruptions and reduce the risk of accidents.
