Delhi fires cause injuries and panic in Swaroop Nagar and Dallupura

Multiple fires occurred in Delhi on Sunday, September 13, 2026. In the Swaroop Nagar area of North Delhi, a fire broke out on the ground and first floors of a factory that manufactures sporting gear, including boxing gloves and judo uniforms. While no one was inside the factory at the time of the blaze, the fire caused panic in an adjacent building. Six individuals, including women and children, jumped from the building to escape the smoke and chaos, resulting in injuries. All injured persons were transported to hospitals and are reported to be out of danger.

In a separate incident, a fire erupted at a godown storing wooden items in the Dallupura area of East Delhi. The Delhi Fire Service dispatched 16 fire tenders to the scene to combat the blaze. No burn injuries have been reported in the Dallupura incident.
