Delhi Government launches Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 flag campaign with SHGs
The Delhi government is set to roll out the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign ahead of Independence Day, aiming to distribute more than 15 lakh national flags across the city. About two lakh of these flags will be produced by eligible Self‑Help Groups (SHGs) organized under the State Urban Livelihood Mission (SULM). Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the initiative links public‑welfare goals with livelihood opportunities, allowing SHG members to earn income while contributing to a symbol of national unity. The campaign is presented as a means to strengthen patriotism, public participation and economic empowerment for urban poor communities, with all flags to comply with the Flag Code of India.
