Delhi High Court extends interim bail for Ritik Bajaj

The Delhi High Court has extended the interim bail of Ritik Bajaj for four weeks. Bajaj is an accused in a major drug haul case involving approximately 500 kg of illicit substances, including 563 kg of cocaine and mephedrone, as well as 40 kg of hydroponic Thai ganja.

Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav granted the extension after reviewing medical records regarding the critical health of Bajaj’s wife, who recently underwent spinal surgery and requires extended bed rest. The court also noted the medical condition of Bajaj’s mother-in-law, who has been diagnosed with third-stage ovarian cancer.

Bajaj was repatriated from Dubai on December 24, 2025. The extension follows a previous decision by a trial court that had rejected his plea for an extension and ordered him to surrender on August 17.
