Delhi High Court orders removal of 44 videos in Isha Foundation defamation case
The Delhi High Court expanded its earlier interim order in the defamation suit filed by the Isha Foundation. Justice Subramonium Prasad directed online platforms to delete 39 short videos and five English‑language videos that the foundation alleges contain defamatory material against spiritual leader Jaggi Vasudev (Sadhguru). The order modifies paragraphs 58 and 59 of the March 19 ruling, extending the scope of prohibited content and prohibiting the identified defendants from publishing or uploading further material of the same nature. A further hearing is scheduled for 5 August before the Rooster Bench. The foundation had argued that the platforms repeatedly host misleading videos targeting its guru, prompting the court’s clarification and enforcement action.
