Delhi L-G T. S. Sandhu addresses women's safety with AIIMS students

Delhi Lieutenant Governor T. S. Sandhu met with medical students and resident doctors at AIIMS to discuss safety and security concerns, specifically those affecting women. During the interaction, Sandhu assured the students of full cooperation in strengthening a secure environment for future healthcare professionals.

In conjunction with these discussions, Sandhu has directed the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to enhance security measures across its public spaces. Following an audit of 736 parks, the DDA is augmenting CCTV networks in 323 parks and improving lighting in 520 parks to address dark spots. The authority is also implementing a new security standard operating procedure to improve public safety.
