Delhi launches Udyog Mitra Portal to streamline business services

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has launched the ‘Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal’, an integrated digital platform designed to enhance the ease of doing business in Delhi. The portal aims to benefit over 800,000 entrepreneurs, including MSMEs, startups, and new investors, by providing streamlined access to government services.

Currently, the portal integrates more than 50 essential services, including licenses and No Objection Certificates (NOCs), from 15 different departments. The government plans to expand this to over 100 services across 21 departments. A key feature is the single login and Common Application Form (CAF), which prevents users from having to repeatedly upload the same documents for different departments.

The platform is linked to the central government’s National Single Window System (NSWS), allowing investors to apply for both state and central-level approvals through a single interface. Digital tools such as real-time application tracking and a ‘Know Your Approvals’ feature have been included to increase transparency and reduce bureaucratic delays.
