Delhi Lieutenant Governor reviews Aerocity development and integration with Dwarka

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu visited Aerocity to assess ongoing infrastructure projects and coordinate with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and private developer GMR. He highlighted the need for integrated planning between Aerocity and the neighboring Dwarka area, which he described as a key growth corridor for the capital.

The LG stressed that future works must incorporate green infrastructure, water‑conservation and flood‑management systems to protect against monsoon‑season flooding, and called for efficient traffic‑management and seamless last‑mile metro connectivity to ease congestion. Sustainability, water security and mobility were presented as central pillars of Aerocity’s planning framework.
