Delhi Man Kills Wife with Battery, Then Commits Suicide

A 28‑year‑old man in West Delhi's Tilangpur Kotla village beat his 24‑year‑old wife to death with a large battery after suspecting her of speaking on the phone. The victim was found with severe head injuries and was declared dead at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The husband then ingested aluminium phosphide tablets and also died despite medical attention.

Police registered an FIR under Section 103(1) of the Indian Penal Code and are investigating the domestic dispute, which follows a five‑year marriage and recent tensions between the couple. Both bodies were handed over to families for cremation after post‑mortems.
