Delhi-NCR to see cooler temperatures and thunderstorms through June 21

The Indian Meteorological Department forecasts that Delhi and the National Capital Region will experience a shift from extreme heat to more moderate conditions over the next several days. From June 16 to June 21, daily maximum temperatures are expected to range between 38 °C and 41 °C, with minimums between 27 °C and 31 °C.

Scattered thunderstorms and light rain are predicted on most days, accompanied by strong breezes that should bring temporary relief from the recent heat wave. Humidity is projected to stay between 35 % and 60 %. The department has issued no yellow, orange or red weather alerts for the period.
