Delhi Police and Fire Brigade rescue two women in Southeast Delhi

Delhi Police and Fire Brigade teams conducted a coordinated rescue operation in Southeast Delhi's Khadda Colony on October 2. The operation involved two women who were injured following a domestic altercation.

One woman, approximately 25 years old, sustained injuries after jumping from a first-floor balcony. A second woman, approximately 24 years old, had locked herself in a room and jumped into a house shaft. Fire Brigade personnel assisted police in opening the door and retrieving her from the shaft.

Preliminary investigations suggest the incident was triggered by a dispute over a video recorded by one woman and sent to another. The two women, identified as sister-in-law and daughter-in-law, were both transported to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for medical treatment.
