Delhi Police arrest drug supplier in Mayapuri with cocaine and illegal pistol

The Delhi Police Anti-Narcotics Squad arrested a suspected drug supplier in the Mayapuri area of West Delhi. The individual, identified as 34-year-old Akash (also known as Akki or Sushant), was apprehended near the Sova Club in the Mayapuri Industrial Area.

During the operation, police recovered 4 grams of cocaine, an illegal .32 bore Italian-made PB Beretta Gardone VT automatic pistol, a magazine, and five live cartridges. A white Swift car used by the suspect was also seized.

According to police reports, the suspect is a private gym trainer who allegedly used his connections within West Delhi’s nightlife circuit to supply cocaine to clients. The arrest followed a tip-off regarding a planned drug delivery on the night of August 21. A case has been registered at the Mayapuri police station under the NDPS Act and the Arms Act.
