Delhi police arrest four for selling government cancer injections on black market

Authorities have uncovered a black market operation involving expensive cancer injections intended for use in government hospitals. During an investigation in Delhi, officials seized four vials that were reportedly supplied from Bikaner. Each vial is valued at over one lakh rupees, making the total seizure worth several lakhs.

Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. Investigators are currently examining the suspects' mobile phones, financial transactions, and contacts to dismantle the smuggling network. A primary focus of the probe is to determine how these government-allocated medicines were diverted from authorized supply chains or hospital stocks into the illegal market.

The incident has raised concerns regarding the security of medical supplies within the public healthcare system. Agencies are reviewing distribution records and hospital stocks to identify any potential involvement of officials or staff in the diversion of these life-saving drugs.
