Burari: 17-year-old girl's body found in suitcase; relative arrested

Delhi Police have recovered the body of a 17-year-old girl from a suitcase in the Ajit Vihar area of Burari. The discovery followed a tip-off received by the Special Staff of the Outer North district.

Authorities have arrested a relative of the deceased, identified as Avinash, a resident of Mukundpur Part-2. During interrogation, the suspect allegedly confessed to the murder and led investigators to the location where the body had been concealed.

Police are currently investigating the motive and the exact circumstances of the killing. Forensic evidence is being analyzed, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. The case has been handed over to the Burari Police Station for further investigation and the registration of an FIR.
