Delhi Police arrest three for pro-Khalistan graffiti at Singhu Border

Delhi Police have arrested three men in Punjab for allegedly painting pro-Khalistan graffiti and writing offensive slogans at the Singhu Border. The incident, which occurred on September 6, was reportedly carried out at the behest of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the chief of the banned organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ).

The accused, identified as Preetpal, Harminder Singh, and Sheeshpal, were traced to Faridkot using CCTV footage from the border area. Investigators have seized the vehicle used in the act. Police sources indicate that Preetpal was in direct contact with Pannun and is being investigated for potential links to terror operatives in Pakistan.

The arrests come amid heightened security in the national capital for the 18th BRICS Summit. A case has been registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), and the Delhi Police Special Cell, alongside the Intelligence Bureau, is currently questioning the suspects.
